EARTH SCIENCE > PALEOCLIMATE > ICE CORE RECORDS > NITROUS OXIDE
Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a greenhouse gas produced from ocean upwelling and soils
in tropical and temperate regions. Ice core studies have shown that nitrous
oxide increases with temperature in the Northern Hemisphere.
