Summary
Abstract: The NASA Visualization of Remote Sensing Data program presents high
quality visualizations of major Hurricanes and Storms around the world
on-line. Several of these images have appeared on the covers of
National Geographic, Time, and Life magazines. In March 1999 the cover
of National Geographic Magazine featured a Hurricane Linda image that
is available from this web site. Users may download images of the
storms in various formats and sizes including QuickTime movies and 3-D
virtual reality files.

The Visualization of Remote Sensing Data program is sponsered by the
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the NASA Learning Technologies
Project.
