Summary
Abstract: The Africa Data Sampler is a set of internationally
comparable digital maps at a scale of 1:1,000,000 available
for every African country. This layer contains the political
boundaries of African countries.

This data has been extracted from the African Data Sampler data
(ADS)data sets by WRI for use in its forest monitoring network.

Primary data source: ONC charts compiled 1960-1989, revised
during the 1970s and 1980s.
Digital data source: Digital Chart of the World,
Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. 1993
