Abstract:
0.5 Degree data set of monthly terrestrial surface climate for the period 1901-1996. The spatial coverage extends over all land areas, including oceanic islands but excluding Antarctica. Fields of monthly climate anomolies, relative to the 1961-1990 mean, were interpolated from surface climate. Variables such as precipitation and temperature were interpolated directly from station observations. ...
