Summary
Abstract: Forest harvest rates expressed as the ratio of roundwood production and growing stock in forests. After decades of increases, harvesting of roundwood from forests appears to have levelled off in recent years. However, roundwood production is still very high and largely exceeds growth of forest stock in Asia and the Pacific.
