Abstract: This product has been decommissioned.

The MODerate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) phenology product (MOD12Q2) presents greenness statistics derived from vegetation indices data
(MOD13, and NBAR-derived VI), and includes per-pixel quality information. MOD12Q2 is provided twice annually with the previous 12 months of data input at a 1-kilometer spatial resolution as a gridded level-3 product in the Sinusoidal projection.
