Summary
Abstract:
Topographical features at Macquarie Island.
The data were collected as part of two ASAC projects (488 and 956) of which Patricia Selkirk was the chief investigator. Features were mapped at a scale of 1:25 000 from field observations, satellite imagery and limited oblique and aerial photography. Features include escarpments, ridge lines, streams, arrows indicating stream flow directions and lines indicating where there is a change of slope on eastern coast-facing slopes. This is a line dataset stored in the Geographical Information System (GIS).
