Measurements of Atmospheric Halons at NOAA/CMDL/HATS
Entry ID:
NOAA_CMDL_NOAH_HALONS
Summary
Abstract:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Climate
Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory (CMDL)/Halocarbons and other Trace Species Group (HATS) is currently measuring halons in the atmosphere. Measurements of Halon-1211 and -1301 are measured by electron-capture gas chromatography (ECGC) and gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GCMS). H-1301 (bromotrifluoromethane or CBrF3) is ... ![]() Geographic Coverage

Use Constraints
If you use these data in a publication or report, NOAA and CDIAC
policy require that you contact the principal investigators first and discuss your interests. By including these data in electronic form, CMDL is trying to encourage scientific interaction. Furthermore, if the data is used in any presentation or publication, you must give credit to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory (CMDL) in Boulder, CO as a source of the data.
