Summary

Abstract: Hourly Precipitation Data Inventory is digital data set DSI-3340 archived at the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). This data set is the inventory of digital data set DSI-3240, Hourly Precipitation Data (HPD), also archived at NCDC. Major parameters are the station identification, year of data inventoried, number of missing days of hourly precipitation for each month of the year inventoried, and the number of days of flagged data for each month.

Purpose: To make a wide range of climatic data available to researchers and the public.
