Climate Analysis Center's Cumulative Weekly Growing Degree Days for Corn for the U.S.
Entry ID:
CAC_CORN
Summary
Abstract:
[Source: NOAA Climate Prediction Center, http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/ ]
This data set contains cumulative weekly growing degree days for the corn crop for stations in each state in the U.S. A similar method to computing the heating and cooling degree days for U.S. cities is used here. Each station record contains the present accumulation of growing degree days since March 1, the normal accumulation of growing degree days, and the departure from the normal. The data are collected from ground stations throughout the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii. The data are displayed in tabular form and CAC keeps the cumulative weekly data on-line. All data sets are available via World Wide Web from the NOAA/CPC Home Page. Link to: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/
