Summary
Abstract:
To provide statistical comparisons of estimated vs final U.S. crop
production. The "Track Records: United States Crop Production" dataset is comprised of national level statistics for the principal crops in the NASS' estimating program. Data for each of the crops include (if applicable): historic estimates of acreage, yield, production, price and value; comparisons of preliminary and final planted and harvested acreage estimates; and comparisons of production forecasts versus end-of-year and final production estimates.
