Summary
Abstract: These vector point data represent the three permitted artificial reefs deployed in Massachusetts. Supplemental information including a brief history of their inception and their success in creating habitat can be accessed using the MORIS Hotlink tool. NOTE: This layer does not include fortuitously submerged artificial structures such as vessels.

Purpose: The intended use of this data is to support diverse activities including planning, management, maintenance, research and interpretation.
