Summary
Abstract: Metadata record for data from ASAC Project 1180
Global change, biodiversity and conservation in terrestrial and coastal ecosystems on Heard and McDonald Islands: statistical models for monitoring and predicting effects of climate change and local human impacts on invertebrates.

We identified the major environmental variables as altitude and vegetation type. We selected sites for sampling by ... View entire text

Quality The pitfall data file contains abundances of the listed species. In the handsearch file, everything left of the Total column are also abundances of the listed invertebrates in a 30 by 30 cm area. To the right of the total column are percentage covers of different vegetation types and rocks, soil, moss, etc, in the same 30 by 30 cm area.

Slope was measured in degrees and altitude was measured in metres.
