Entry ID:

Summary
Abstract:
This dataset refers to Final Report of the ISP round I project number 012,
which has the name "RAINFALL STUDIES IN THE AMAZON BASIN AND CENTRAL SOUTH AMERICA". The objective of this project was to investigate causes of subseasonal to interannual rainfall variability over the Amazon basin during summer, including onset of the rainy season. As the second part of this study, the group examined circulation changes resulting from variations in convection over Amazonia. To find information about this project, as well as its results, see the Final Report. Principal Investigator >> Henry Diaz, hfd@cdc.noaa.gov, NOAA (USA). Geographic Coverage
