Digital Bathymetric Data for the Gulf of MaineEntry ID: gom_bathymetry
Abstract: Gridded bathymetry and topography at 15 arc second (~1/2 km grid cell size) and a 30 arc second (~1 km grid cell size) resolution were constructed for the Gulf of Maine (Longitude = 71.5 - 63 W, Latitude = 39.5 - 46 N) using available digital bathymety datasets. In addition to the grids themselves, valuable ancillary products such as corrected sounding data, digital bathymetric contour lines and shaded-relief maps were generated and are available in a variety of formats, including Arc, Matlab, GMT and ASCII.
