Summary

Abstract: This data set is an area-averaged time series of precipitation amount
from 500 stations within a region of the former USSR extending from
37N to 70N and from 25 to 140E. These stations were selected from the
600-station precipitation archive of the former USSR (Vinnikov et
al. 1990).
