Summary
Abstract:
Geosciences Bremen SST estimates derived from the alkenone unsaturation index
(U-k-37, after Brassell et al, 1986) with the temperature calibration of PRAHL, et al.(1988). Also reported are delta18-O isotope data from G.ruber and G.bulloides. Data are reported for 3 cores in the eastern South Pacific, Angola Basin/Walvis Ridge. Core GeoB10083: -06 34.90'S, 10 19.10'E, Water Depth 3124m. Core GeoB10163: -11 46.20'S, 11 40.90'E, Water Depth 3411m. Core GeoB10285: -20 06.20'S, 9 11.10'E, Water Depth 2209m.
