These are part of the Antarctic Specially Protected Area No.143.

The features were digitised from Figure 2 in the paper referenced below. The resulting data were georeferenced and clipped/extended to match the existing Vestfold Hills coastline data.

The dates given in temporal coverage are approximate only. Only the years are correct. Dates more accurate than year are not known. Usually mapped using a Universal Transverse Mercator projection, Zone 44
