Abstract:
Soils in the Ross Sea Region were investigated for evidence of any soil processes operating in Antarctica. Two field seasons were used to sample and investigate the region. Sites visited in the first season (1959-1960) include the Taylor Valley in detail, Cape Royds, Cape Barne, Cape Evans, Turks Head, a short visit to Cape Hallett Station and Marble Point.
