Summary
Abstract:
Soil samples were collected from the crater of Mt Erebus. Yeast glucose agar and penicillin and streptomycin was used to culture thermophilic microbes, fungi and actinomycetes. Several thermophilic microbes, fungi and actinomycetes were isolated and established in pure culture.
