The data are taken from the UN Population Division, the World Bank, the CIA Factbook, and CIESIN's Gridded Population of the World, and are ... ![]() Purpose: To provide population estimates, gross domestic product, and surface area data to be used in conjunction with the sustainability indicators included in the compendium.
