Abstract: Data set includes whole-rock major and trace element chemical data for Ferrar Supergroup (Ferrar Dolerite, Kirkpatrick Basalt) rocks from the Transantarctic Mountains which were collected over several Antarctic field seasons (between 1966 and 2011) by David H. Elliot (Ohio State University)and Thomas H. Fleming (Southern Connecticut State University). The data have been collected to provide geochemical context for units that are being concurrently dated by high resolution single crystal U-Pb zircon chronology.
