Summary
Abstract:
Planktonic foraminifer assemblages and fluxes from sediments recovered by ODP
leg 117 on the Oman margin are used to reconstruct northwest Arabian Sea upwelling and the southwest monsoon. Variations in G. Bulloides and in total foraminifer counts show cycles of variability at 23kyr and 100kyr.
