Access Constraints
At this time HEW does not perform subsetting on HDF-EOS "point"
datasets. Datasets must be in HDF-EOS format. Only Swath and Grid objects may be subsetted. Datasets that do not follow these requirements cannot be subsetted by HEW, but may be subsettable by other means.
Use Constraints
When your subsetting request is accepted, HEW returns to you a
subsetting ID. You must make a note of this value, as it is the only way to check on the status of your subsetting operation at a later time.
