Abstract: This theme shows areas of BLM-managed lands in Western Oregon that are
classified according to the physical and biological capability of the site to
support and produce forest products.

Description: The Bureau of Land Management [BLM] manages 16,233,739 acres of public lands in
Oregon and 370,110 acres in Washington. From the forests of western Oregon to
the rangelands in eastern Oregon and Washington, BLM uses a multiple-use
approach to managing your public lands. BLM manages for wildlife, recreation,
timber harvest, livestock grazing, mineral extraction and other public uses.
