Abstract:
The HAMSTRAD microwave radiometer detects the emission lines of O2 at 60 GHz to retrieve temperature profile (Kelvin) from 0 to 10 km and the line of H2O at 183 GHz to retrieve H2O profile (g m-3) from 0 to 10 km. It is thus possible to also get Integrated Water Vapour (kg m-2). Integration time is about 7 minutes. Vertical resolution is from about 50 m in the Planetary Boundary Layer to 500 m in the UTLS.
