Summary

Abstract: This dataset contains monthly longterm climatological means, variances, and covariances of geopotential height, temperature, specific humidity, wind, and vertical motion for the atmosphere from 1000mb up to 50mb. Longterm means are computed over the period from October 1978 to September 1985. The data are on a global latitude/longitude grid with a resolution of 2.5 degrees.
