Quality A number of substrates deployed in this series of experiments were lost due to entrainment in ice.

The quality of the attached datasets is also poor, in that they are poorly explained. The data were archived by the contributing scientist before she left the Australian Antarctic Division. Attempts by the AAD to obtain further details about the dataset have not proved successful.
