Summary
Abstract: Toxic contamination of our air, water, soil, and wildlife is a concern
in Washington State. Humans and wildlife face a variety of risks due
to toxic chemicals in the environments. For many areas of Washington,
information is lacking about the levels of toxic contaminants in

Access Constraints Access to WSTMP data and reports

Exploratory monitoring began in 2001 throughout Washington. Fish were
collected from seven lakes. Water sampling at selected sites will
begin in the spring of 2002. Different sites will be selected each
year for sampling both fish tissue and water for toxic
contaminants. Monitoring results and annual reports will be available
through this website as they become available.
