This data set consist of monthly sea level pressure (SLP) standardized anomalies in Indonesia (INDO) and the Eastern Pacific (EPAC) and the Equatorial Southern Oscillation Index (EQSOI) (EPAC-INDO). The standard base period is 1951-1980. Details on the calculation of the SOI can be found at: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/data/indices/Readme.index.shtml#SOICALC
