Epicenters in Utah

Summary
Abstract:
This data set represents the locations of earthquake epicenters in Utah
recorded by the University of Utah Seismograph Stations. The data recording began in July 1962 and has continued to present (2001). The July 1, 1962 to September 30, 1974 data are based on instrumental earthquake locations from a skeletal regional eismic network (less than 26 stations statewide). Beginning in October 1974, the data are from a dense network of high-gain telemetered stations with sinificatnly better loctions and magnitude determinations than those for the pervious period.
