Long wavelength Earth gravity field model series from satellite tracking data only, spherical harmonic representation
Entry ID:
GFZ-GRIM4-S
Summary
Abstract:
GRIM4-S global gravity field models are based on the analysis of satellite
orbit perturbations from optical, doppler, laser and GPS-SST tracking data of about 30 satellites. The models are given as a set of fully normalized spherical harmonic coefficient complete to degree and order 50 with for the most recent models higher degree terms within resonant orders. The first solution GRIM4-S1 includes from 27 satellites. This model has been augmented by additional data leading to the GRIM4-S2 (29 satellites), GRIM4-S3 (30 satellites) and GRIM4-S4 (32 satellites) solutions. Geographic Coverage
