West Coast Upwelling Indices Data Files

Summary

Abstract: The files contain upwelling indices for 15 locations along the Pacific
coast from Baja California to the Gulf of Alaska. The indices were
derived from 6 hourly atmospheric pressure fields prepared at the
U. S. Navy's Fleet Numerical Oceanographic Center in Monterey,
California. Data are available as monthly means from 1946 to the
present and as daily means and 6 hourly data from 1967 to the present.
