Oxygen isotope levels derived from sea water samples, 1994-1997, Georges Bank region, GLOBEC
Entry ID:
delta_O_18_GB
Summary
Abstract:
Water bottle sampling for oxygen isotope analyses were conducted
during 25 cruises to the Georges Bank/Gulf of Maine region 1994-1997. The isotope ratio H2O18/H2O16 was measured, using a VG Prism II mass-spectrometer and reported in delta_O18 notation. The data presented are the averages of the replicates and their differences. If the difference exceeded 0.066 the analysis was repeated. The average standard deviation of the data is 0.033. Also reported are environmental parameters of temperature, salinity, fluorescence, light transmission.

Use Constraints
Any person making substantial use of a data set must communicate
with the investigators who acquired the data prior to publication and anticipate that the data collectors will be co-authors of published results. This extends to model results and to data organized for retrospective studies. ... ![]() Ancillary Keywords
