Summary

Abstract: U.S. Navy Marine Climatic Atlas of the World is a climatology atlas, available from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). These atlases contain climatological summaries for the following meteorological parameters: wind speed and direction, air temperature, temperature extremes and temperature-humidity index, sea surface temperature, humidity, wet bulb, precipitation, visibility, cloud cover, ...

Purpose: To make a wide range of climatic data available to researchers and the public.
