Abstract:
We measured the concentration of insoluble aerosols (i.e. dust)
along the top 120 meters of the Greenland Ice Sheet Project 2 (GISP2) ice core, which was retrieved from the Summit location, central Greenland. We have also measured dust compositions at intervals along the core using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy- dispersive X-ray analyzer (EDAX). Geographic Coverage
