Summary

Abstract: This data set contains Climatic boundary conditions (CLIMAP) for 18,000 years
before present and present, water, soil, glacier, vegetation coverage, sea
surface temperature, and elevation are included for February and August, on 2 X
2 degree latitude/longitude grid cells. The book by Hecht (1985) has much
detailed inventory information about various paleoclimate datasets, and
associated science.
