Abstract: A seismic reflection survey and wide angle reflection experiment was carried out along an 11km profile, starting approximately 8 km east of Hut Point Peninsula and heading west to delineate the sedimentary sequences under the peninsula in order to define the late Cenozoic glacial and volcanic history of the region and to assist planning for possible stratigraphic drilling of the Cenozoic sediments. A series of gravity measurements were made along the profile line also.
