Abstract: This data set contains the paleomagnetic inclination, declination, and maximum angular deviation (MAD) values determined from principal component analysis on the 2005 SHALDRIL Maxwell Bay drill core. The dataset includes both u-channel samples (0 to 40 m), which were measured on a 2G cyrogenic magnetometer at the University of Quebec at Rimouski, and cube samples (40-72 m) on an AGICO JR6 spinner magnetometer at Montclair State University.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to generate a record of paleosecular variation and relative paleointensity for the Antarctic Peninsula region.
