Abstract:
The USGS provided data and information to coordinate information on the
Northridge Earthquake of January, 1994. Information posted includes borehole strain measurements, focal mechanism, velocity, acceleration, and strain measurements, data from portable seismometer stations, aftershock catalogs, information from earthquake prediction experiments, post-earthquake investigations, moment tensor solutions, emergency service information, logistical information and coordination information for scientists studying the earthquake.
