Summary

Abstract: The following petrophysical data is available :
a) strength, dilatancy, and stress-strain relation of granite and gabbro
at pressures up to 400 MPa and temperatures up to 400 deg. C.
b) strength, creep, stress-strain relation for peridotite under pressures
up to 3 GPAa and temperatures up to 1500 deg. C.
c) creep and dilatancy in the fracture of granites
d) time-dependent deformation and strength of shales
e) effects of water-pressure on rheology of sandstones
