Abstract: Solar radio flux is measured from the undisturbed solar surface,
developing active regions on the sun and from short-lived enhancements
above the daily level. Radio flux is measured in 10 to the -22
Joules/second/square meter/Hertz. Data are from radio telescope at the
Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Penticton, British
... Columbia. Solar radio flux from the entire solar disk is measured at a
frequency of 2800 megaHertz. Solar flux values are measured daily and
the emmited radio flux level is determined daily at local noon (1700
GMT). The data values are have been multiplied by 10 to suppress the
decimal point. The data set covers the period from February 14, 1947
to the present.
The radio telescope was moved from Ottawa, Canada to the Dominion
Radio Astrophysical Observatory, in British Columbia, Canada in early
