Summary

Abstract: VASS/MWHS Orbit Rain Detection:

The orbit product of rain detection over ocean from VASS with raw resolution contains the following information: pixel’s rain detection result, observing time of scan line, pixel’s latitude and longitude, and pixel’s surface type.

Purpose: VASS/MWHS Orbit Rain Detection:

Microwave rain detection product can be used for raining area detection before the atmospheric sounding parameters retrieval.
