Summary
Abstract: Cosmic noise is received at 38.2 MHz by a solid state Riometer and dual
dipole antenna at Terra Nova Bay, Italian Antarctic Base. These kind of
measurements are useful to determine the ionospheric absorption in the lower
ionosphere and to contribute to the physical- chemical mechanism in the D
ionospheric region. Moreover it could contribute to determine a new kind of
multivariate index to control the state of the ionosphere-magnetosphere
system.
