Summary
Abstract: The atmospheric transmission of solar irradiation at Mauna Loa, Hawaii
was measured over a broad spectral band by means of a normal-incidence
pyrheliometer having a quartz window transmitting in the range 300-3000
nm.

The solar irradiance record is essentially complete since 1958 (with only 10
