Abstract: The Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration (EIA)
home page on the WWW is 'http://www.eia.doe.gov/'. The EIA anonymous
FTP site is 'ftp://ftp.eia.doe.gov/'.

The EIA home page contains links to EIA data, analysis, forecasting
products and other services. EIA is the U.S. government's statistical
agency with responsibility for the collection and dissemination of
energy data and analysis.

The EIA data section features energy production, consumption, and
price data; national, regional, and international statistics; and
weekly, monthly, annual, and semiannual statistics for petroleum,
natural gas, coal, electricity, nuclear energy, renewable energy, and
greenhouse gases.

The EIA analyses section contains special analyses of petroleum,
natural gas, electricity, and other energy markets, as well as
forecasts of future energy trends.
