Summary
Abstract:
Plankton was sampled at a single site off Seabee Hook, Edisto Inlet, Cape Hallett during the 04-05 season. Significant numbers of newly spawned embryos were first observed 25 November. Based on the embryos colour and size they were identified as a Sterechinus spp (Echinodermata). This identification has been confirmed by recent DNA sequencing (2008).
