Abstract:
Casco Bay Estuary Partnership is working to protect and restore the
Casco Bay ecosystem and watershed while sustaining compatible human uses. The stakeholder-developed "Casco Bay Plan" that guides CBEP's work focuses on five priorities: stormwater, toxics, habitat conservation, shellfish beds and swimming beaches, and stewardship. CBEP monitors numerous indicators of the ... ![]() Purpose: Monitor, compile, and assess data on a suite of indicators of the health of Casco Bay and its watershed. At regular intervals, publish the available data on fourteen different indicators in a "State of the Bay" report. The most recent summary is the "State of the Bay 2005" report.
