Summary

Abstract: This data set contains global 1990 non-methane volatile organic
compound (NMVOC) emissions inventory data from anthropogenic sources.
Sources of ammonia considered include the following compound groups:
alkanols (alcholols), alkanes (ethanes, propanes, butanes, pentanes,
hexanes and higher alkanes, alkenes/alkynes (ethene/ethylene, propene,
ethyne/acetylene, olefines), aromatics (benzene/benzol,
methylbenzene/toluene, dimethylbenzenes/xylenes, trimethylbenzene,
other aromatics), esters, ethers (alkoxy, alkanes), chlorinated
hydrocarbons, alkanals/aldehydes (methanal/formaldehyde, other
alknaols/aldehydes), carboxylic acids (alkanoic acids), other NMVOCs
(HCFCs, nitriles, etc.)

The NMVOC data set is derived from the EDGAR 2.0 database.
