Summary
Abstract: Oceanographic data has been routinely collected by UK research and
naval vessels since the beginning of the twentieth century. This data
set, compiled by the ICES Oceanographic Data Centre, comprises some
90939 profiles. All of the profiles in this data set have been quality
checked, cross-checked against original documentation, and all
